Artsakh President Received French Deputies

The President of the Republic of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan received French National Assembly Deputies, members of the Union for Popular Movement, Guy Teissier, Jaques Remiller, Georges Colombier and Valerie Boyer on the 22nd of August.
Issues related to the current state of bilateral relations and prospects of their development were discussed at the meeting.
President Sahakyan considered the role of France in maintaining peace and stability in the region as very important, rating its activities as the co-chair country of the OSCE Minsk Group high.
In the context of developing bilateral relations Bako Sahakyan considered the expanding of parliamentary ties important, underlining special interest of Artsakh in this sphere. Both sides stressed on the need of further deepening of cooperations and elaborating concrete plans in this direction.
Ashod Ghoulyan, the Speaker of the NKR National Assembly, and other officials participated in the meeting.
